Files and diagrams
- SUB-03 test sequence (WAV). 25 Hz, 35 Hz and combo tones for testing the SUB-03.
- Touch-tone test file (WAV). Touch-tones 1 through 0 and A through D, for testing and programming the DTMF-16, DS-8 and DR-10.
- Put a caller on the air with a DR-10 (PDF). The simplest and most universal hookup. Not the best for every plant, and other designs can be added to it.
- Simplified telco-to-air diagram (PDF). For the DR-10 or TAC-5. The TAC-5's single DPDT relay switches balanced mono or unbalanced stereo; both are shown. Read the notes at the bottom left.
- Audio connections primer (PDF). One page on balanced and unbalanced audio and TRS jacks.
To download a WAV file you may need to right-click it and choose Save link as; some browsers play it instead.
The WAV files are 8-bit mono at 8 kHz to keep them small, and they work well for testing and operating CircuitWerkes products. To convert them to another format, such as MP3, you may first need to convert them to 16-bit, 44.1 kHz files.
