Tones in. Contacts out.

Network cues, touch-tones and subaudible tones still run a lot of radio automation. These boxes hear them, close the contact, and keep the tones off your air.

Every touch-tone, mapped.

Each key is two tones at once, one from a row and one from a column. The DTMF-16 decodes all sixteen, A through D included. Point at a key.

1: 697 Hz + 1209 Hz

Program any output of the DTMF-16 to a single key or a sequence of up to six. Its anti-falsing delay ignores brief passages of program audio that happen to contain touch-tone frequencies, and still catches the long tones some satellite news and sports networks send for affiliate breaks.

Four ways to answer a tone.

A capture of the same touch-tones driving DTMF-16 outputs set four different ways. Every output is set on its own.

Subaudible, done right.

The low end of a network feed, from the SEN-6 that sends the cue to the SUB-03 that catches it.

Notch filters clear 25 and 35 Hz, then the cue goes in.

The relay closes, and the tone is cut 30 to 40 dB in the audio it passes on.
